I'm excited to announce the release of the first third-party add-on for Workers for LabVIEW, PEIP (Project Explorer Integration Pack) by Stanislav Rumega makes working with Workers faster and more streamlined.
What PEIP brings to your workflow
1️⃣ Faster loading of the Workers Tools menu — the menu opens instantly
2️⃣ Right-click options in the project tree — create new Workers directly from your project
3️⃣ Toolbar icon + Ctrl+M Quick Drop shortcut — quick access to the Workers Tools menu
4️⃣ Visible icons for Worker and Worker Base classes (like HALs), making it clear which classes in your project are Workers
I’ve installed PEIP on every one of my development machines, and it’s hard to imagine working with Workers without it now.
